Think walkathon/fun run meets amazing race. Registration is required. The cost of registration covers all event food/beverage stops\, with the exception of an optional adult beverage. This is a nonprofit event\, with proceeds as well as additional contributions being donated to La Crosse Lighthouse\, https://www.lacrosselighthouse.org/ \nThe event starts and ends in Rowe Park\, is not timed\, and all challenges/stops are optional. Estimate up to 3 hours if participating in each challenge! Please note that one stop is a pub—anyone under 21 MUST be accompanied by their legal guardian to be in this establishment\, and beverages for this stop are not included in registration. \nDownload the “RunGo” app for verbal turn-by-turn instructions as you follow the route! A document that can be printed with a detailed route and stops will be posted on the PARC La Crosse Facebook event one week prior to the event. B)\nFINISH: Forest Hills Golf Course\nDISTANCE: ~13 miles\nELEVATION CHANGE: 1\,500 ft \nWebsite: Ruck Run \nIn conjunction with the ROTC’s Northern Warfare Challenge\, we are offering a civilian event on our trails as well! \nThe Northern Warfare Challenge is the 3rd Brigade Army ROTC’s event hosted by ROTC students based in La Crosse. The challenge for the ROTC members will include around 16 miles in the La Crosse Blufflands while carrying a pack and they will have multiple challenges to complete. Over 40 teams from all over the country will be competing! \nThe Civilian event will be done in conjunction with the ROTC event\, but participants will NOT have to participate in the same challenges as the cadets. Instead civilians will run the course alongside the cadets and have a chance to cheer them on as they challenge themselves in new ways.
